CHEEK RETRACTOR – FULLY AUTOCLAVABLE

The cheek retractor is made of high heat resistant materials that make it fully autoclavable for safe repeated use.

1 Lip cradles – The bilateral lip cradles have smooth corners and can be angled upon insertion to match the patient’s lip anatomy to maximize patient comfort. This freedom to rotate will also allow the clinician to adjust their
positions to maximize visualization.

2 Suction tube channel – This channel serves two purposes: i) secures the suction tube out of the way as it passes out of the mouth; and ii) smooth curve applies pressure to the cheeks for maximum retraction and visualization of the working field.

3 Connector – Allows freedom of the cheek retractors to rotate ultimately resting at the most comfortable position for that individual patient.

4 Retention hook – A external hook used to direct the excess tube away from the working field.

5 Metal bar connector – A stainless steel metal bar that can be adjusted by the operator to either increase or reduce the amount of desired retraction or if the appliance needs to be made larger or smaller depending on the patient’s mouth size..

TONGUE CRIB – SINGLE USE DISPOSABLE

The tongue crib with continuous suction was designed to be disposable with the patient’s safety in mind. Disposing of the lumen tubing after direct contact with saliva, fluids and debris ensure there is zero cross contamination between patients.

6 Posable suction tube – Our patented unique design allows the operator to adapt the suction tube to the patient’s anatomy to optimize suction, improve patient comfort and clear the patient’s occlusion allowing the patient to full
function under isolation.

7 Terminal suction port – A sublingual terminal suction port designed to clear saliva from the patient’s sublingual salivary gland and clear any pooling of external sources of water.

8 Tongue crib – A flexible soft silicone designed to comfortably house the patient’s tongue away from the dentition, protecting it from trauma.

9 Secondary suction port – Through vigorous testing we determined a secondary suction port was beneficial at this specific area to clear any pooling of fluids at the retromolar pad area that accumulates from external sources during
dental procedures.

10 Bilateral suction tubes – These tubes are directed away from the patient’s mouth and are joined by the Y-adapter provided to a single port that easily plugs into the LVE line.

BENEFITS

VALUABLE

  • Eliminate the need for miscellaneous supplies such as cotton rolls, gauze, and dry angles.
  • Reduced procedure times will result in more productive and less stressful work days.
  • Reduce costs by allowing clinicians to work independently with its easy hands free continuous suction throughout the appliance.

SAFE

  • Intra-oral component (tongue crib) is disposable which prevents cross contamination between patients.
  • Full retraction of the patient’s soft tissues from the working field reduces the risk of patient injury.

EASY

  • The XG appliance is easy to assemble and connect to the low-volume evacuator with no special equipment required.
  • XG makes difficult full mouth isolation procedures easier than ever.

COMFORTABLE

  • Made of a soft and flexible silicone and slick compact design.
  • XG appliance provides maximum comfort for the patient for both short and long procedures.

VERSATILE

  • Poseable suction arms allow for adaptation to any occlusion.
  • Cheek retractor may be adjusted to increase/decrease retraction.
  • The XG’s compact design will also allow the operator to use a bite block if desired.
